Emer Kenny

Emer Kenny is a TV and film actress and writer who rose to prominence through her role as Zsa Zsa Carter in EastEnders and EastEnders: E20

The 22-year old made her debut in 2007 in the BBC drama Coming Down the Mountain and soon after landed a debut film role in Phil Claydon's Lesbian Vampire Killers, co-starring James Corden and Mathew Horne, as well as the role of Kate in improvisational BBC production Freefall, written and directed by Dominic Savage. She also appeared in the BBC2 film Eric and Ernie - a look at the early career of Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise.

Emer is also a talented writer, writing for three series of the award-winning EastEnders: E20 and, in 2011, becoming the youngest-ever person to be selected for the BBC's Writers Academy, contributing to shows including Holby City and Casualty. Emer recently wrote full episodes for EastEnders and Doctors, both of which will air in 2012.
