Joe Lycett
Described by Time Out as "one of the strongest emerging comedy talents we've seen in a long time", Joe Lycett has taken the comedy circuit by storm since his debut in 2008.
Joe’s natural, engaging stage presence and anecdotal material earned him the Bath New Act of the Year title and a place in the final of the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition just a year into his comedy career, achievements that have been accompanied by three acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and performances at leading venues around the UK.
In 2010 Joe scooped the Chortle Best Newcomer accolade, following such names as Russell Kane and Sarah Millican to claim the title. He was also invited to open the Elgar Comedy series at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011.
Joe made his full TV debut in August 2011 in BBC1's primetime family gameshow, Epic Win, as host Alexander Armstrong's assistant, joining other regular faces in the show such as Micky Flanagan and Jason Manford. He has also just been landed a regular panelist role in E4's new panel show, The Dirty Digest, which will air in November 2011, whilst you can also see him on shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and Show & Tell.
