PR Manager – Culture& Entertainment (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for an experienced,dynamic PR professional to join our Culture & Entertainment publicity teamas Acting PR Manager on a maternity leave contract. This is an excitingopportunity for a well-connected PR with strong line management experience -someone who loves live tours, comedy, theatre, podcasts, festivals, and liveevents, and who is ready to play a key role in our thriving Culture &Entertainment team.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Leadership
● Lead major PR campaigns across livecomedy, tours, podcasts, festivals, experiential events and theatre projects,delivering high-quality work and impactful results.
● Develop and execute creative strategiesfor a diverse portfolio of projects, managing a small campaign team effectively
● Work strategically to identify the rightactivity to reach priority audiences and deliver on campaign objectives.
● Act as the senior daily client contact,providing trusted counsel, proactively communicating, and fostering excellentrelationships with clients and stakeholders.
● Approve coverage reports, client updatesand campaign plans before they are shared externally.
● Lead client liaison including projectreporting, meetings and day to day communication
Media Relations & Issues Management
● Bring an established network of mediarelationships across broadcast, print, online and digital, ideally with aparticular network of contacts covering live arts.
● Proactively grow and nurture mediacontacts, identifying new outlets and opportunities for audience engagement.
● Monitor the media landscape, anticipateemerging issues and develop strategies to mitigate risk.
● Handle complex media issues,establishing clear reactive procedures and preparing lines for enquiry,briefings and guidance.
● Possess excellent writing skills andstrong news sense, producing sharp, engaging press materials.
Team Leadership & Development
· Manageand support junior team members up to Publicist level, ensuring high-qualitywork across campaigns.
· Provideguidance through challenges, oversee workloads, set performance objectives andoffer development opportunities.
· Workunder the direction of the Director, Culture & Entertainment
· Confidentlylead teams at events, red carpets and photo calls when necessary.
Project & Workflow Management
● Maintain excellent organisation andadministration, anticipating deadlines and managing campaign and event budgetseffectively.
● Handle multiple high-priority projectsat pace.
● Ensure timely delivery of coveragereports and end-of-campaign updates.
● Maintain a visible presence for Culture& Entertainment campaigns and project social media channels; contributeactively to internal updates and bulletins.
New Business
● Support the senior team in new businesspitches and contribute to identifying new opportunities for agency growth.
Additional Requirements
● This role requires working at theEdinburgh Festival Fringe during August, so candidates must be willing totravel.
● Out-of-hours work is expected, includingattending press nights, work-in-progress shows and London galas. MultitudeMedia operates a robust time in lieu scheme for additional hours worked

Contract type:Maternity Cover
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hoursa week with flexi-working based around core hours of 10am to 5.30pm.
Salary:£42,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience
Start date: March2026
Location:Hybrid working – minimum of 3 days working at our head office in CentralLondon, plus home working
